Mission
The Mission of the AME Church is to minister to the social, spiritual, and physical development of all people. Tanner-Price seeks to fulfill this mission in Windsor, Ontario.
Vision
The vision of Tanner-Price is to be a refuge where the least among and around us are empowered through our love of G*d, our neighbors, and ourselves.
In this way, Tanner-Price realizes the vision of the Connectional AME Church:
At every level of the Connection and in every local church, the AME Church shall engage in carrying out the spirit of the original Free African Society, out of which the AME Church evolved: that is, to seek out and save the lost, and to serve the needy. It is also the duty of Church to continue to encourage all members to become involved in all aspects of church training.

We Are a Believing Church
First, we believe G*d. We also believe biblical Scriptures are G*d-inspired and the true basis of all A.M.E. Church doctrine. And we are honest about Scripture, recognizing that all humans who have engaged the biblical text are interpreters. Our interpretation of Scripture is balanced with experience, reason, and tradition.
We Are a Justice-Working Church
The G*d we believe and in whom we believe is the G*d of the oppressed. This is the G*d who guided our ancestors to freedom and safety, building the Underground Railroad through us. This is the G*d who gives us victory over slavery, colonization, incarceration, spiritual and material diseases and demons, and sin. The G*d who made us equal in our diversities strengthens us, as a church, to build an equitable world one act, one breath, one step at a time.
This is who we are.
These are the foundations upon which we are disciples and we make disciples.
This is our testimony. This is our witness.
